1. Attention employers: We now require a valid DOT# for anyone wishing to post a driving position. If your job offer doesn't contain a DOT number, it will not get past moderation and will not appear in the forum. The other requirements in the sticky at the top of this section are still required as well. Thank you for understanding.

I have flatbed, van and tank experience. I have been driving for 10 years. I have put my application in just about everywhere that may or may not be hiring. I am not getting any calls. Very frustrating. I have a completely clean record.

I have gotten responses from what I call the bottom feeders: Schneider, Melton, JB Hunt and a couple of others. I may have to suffer and go with one of them.

Schneider may not be as much of a bottom feeder any longer, since they are no longer taking inexperienced drivers. They may be worth a look from some of the comments I have been seeing around here lately.

JB Hunt is still worth running from. Not sure about Melton.

Schneider pays .32cpm. They suck. I'm currently working for Foodliner. I this job in April. They pay .37cpm. They always seem to come through with work, but I only average 2000 miles a week or less. Does anyone have any other suggestions?

You might want to give thanks, and stay put. You are doing much better than most drivers around here............
