    OR and WA are both mandatory carry states for chains, if you get inspected and don’t have the proper number of chains or none at all then they can put you out of service.

    Okay, if you'd been shorter I know of a couple of good time saving short cuts but a 53 would make you too long.

    Main thing is to avoid wyoming.
    Is always a disaster there in winter time.

    Are you a company driver? If not don’t forget to get a temporary pass for Oregon. Personally I’d probably just run 25 to 90..too many slow trucks on 80 for me.
    Chains are needed until April 1st at least in Washington. Most truck stops have them and you’ll need 4? Sets for WA.

    Your chances of needing them now are slim to none.

    Colorado requires chains to be carried sept 01- may31 as well..

    Nope just company driver . I think this will be more of a dedicated position. How far out of the way is it by taking 25 to 90
