I can't tell for sure by part number but it shows 2 kits and one of them is likely the bearing kit, the other the interaxle diff and mating gear parts in a kit.

just now discovered the bearings were bad. had to go out of my way to ask. why was this not told to me. the order said broken clutch collar and thats all they told me verbally. you cant tell by the work order a bearing was bad if its described as numbers and letters on the parts list. even the head guy greg who i ask to show me and the parts list where the bearing part was he had to go to his computer. could not tell by looking on the work order. again the last work i put up on here shows hours after i had to pull teeth to get the hour breakdown but this was after the fact. the only thing i was given was an obscure parts list that stated broken collar and thats all they told me verbally in the original work order. tired of all this. wouldnt the truck ride bad with bearings that badly damaged or hear sounds. they look bad

You worked it for all it was worth and now you're the wiser. Warranties are nothing but an illusion created to sucker the buyer into his/her comfort zone. They are just like insurance companies and never live up to their intended purpose.

yeah just for any one reading and learning and correct me if i am wrong. even though the bearing is damaged. this was probably caused by international taking it out and examining it. there are no pits or scratches on the bearings so the bearing was probably okay to begin with. also its not uncommon for the bearing to look like this after removal because the extraction is hard and can lead to bent bearings. so technically international did not damage the bearing its just a chance you take when you remove it? Its a grey area and some would say its good to change out this part with what was going on in the interaxle but international should have got approval for a non-necessary fix. if they have asked i would have declined this fix.

You don't need to install a complete bearing kit for the 2 or 3 new bearings needed to put it back together, it's overkill and unnecessary.

That bearing would have never been reused on your new thru shaft anyway so no loss that it was damaged in removal.
