I asked this question before..can I realistically make over 50000 a year with DHT? I have a little over one year experience and run hard as I can. I make 39 cents a mile now but DHT would start me at less cpm..Are the bonuses attainable? I can do the month out like I do now..but would like at least 6 days home after that.

I was behind one of the DHT trailers at blue beacon and it was advertising Company drivers make up to $60k and O/O make $150k+. I mean it's on the trailer so it's gotta be true.

You can make that running no miles at all. I've NEVER missed a bonus as long as I've been driving for Danny Herman.

I work my butt off to be sure to make my bonuses. I'll often split my home time at months end so it's a few days off at the end and a few days off at the beginning. Unless I ran strong and know I'm making my 12k and I'll take it off and then grab one load when I return to finish off my 12k for the month. In January running solo I ran 16,100 miles. I was home for 2 days. That gives you an idea. Even if I took 3k off that and took a week off I would have still made 13k miles.
In march I ran 13,100 miles and was home for 7 days.

When you have to pickup or deliver loads in California can you put your trailer tandems at 40 foot mark and the weight is still be legal or you already had a situation that you had to rework the load at the shipper because you were overweight?
