MJ, I was surprised to not see that road relay in the dash, but there is a row of buttons which work with the LCD screen above the guages that I believe displays the same data and menu as Road Relay.
I'm considering putting a dedicated laptop in with Insite running, which will give me a ridiculous amount of data, blows road relay and scanguage out of the water !

Red Top was 460 horsepower and up to 525, and those below that(up to 435) had just steel instead of the cast covers on top of the engine.
Present location I drive for used to buy Red Tops until the last new trucks with N-14s in the 2003 model year.
Another carrier I drove for had no Red Tops in similar vintage of trucks. Earlier engines just were different ratings with no, apparent to me anyway, outward difference in appearance.
One of the best N-14s I ever drove was the first, no jake, 460 with the governed rpm parameters left unset. That thing would almost fly. No Red Top, and it was in a 93. -
I am actually seriously considering changing my ecm to the 1998 460 hp cal I have heard so many good things about the reliability of engines with that setting, and it's still more power than I'll ever need. Of course with warranty and all I will probably have to let them flash it even though I could do it myself, lol.
Yah, as soon as I fired it up the first time and heard that familiar N14 snarling growl, I was quite glad I spent the extra $5,000 for an N14.25(2)+2, mrbmg, BeN DaViS and 1 other person Thank this. -
Drove pre emission ISX, that was a beast!!!
N-14 must be even better!!!
Beat of luck to You Danny, many, many happy miles!!!
You must listened to Guru, that said from now on we love N-14 instead of Series 60.

Way to go! Looks like a good ride and set up. The N14 is a killer motor. I always was fond of them. May the wind always be at your back!
blairandgretchen, mrbmg and dannythetrucker Thank this. -
I'll be delivering in Eureka on Wednesday,I may have to check it out.
dannythetrucker Thanks this. -
According to that YouTube video anyway. OK. Nevermind.
I drove N-14 's the first 2 years I drove. Set at 330 hp. Plenty of torque. They had some injector issues back then. But I assume 23 years later they have that fixed.
Congratulations on your new ride. I think my next truck will be a glider.dannythetrucker Thanks this. -
Nothing wrong with the oil temp. Pulling a load on a warm day you will be pushing 230.
blairandgretchen and dannythetrucker Thank this. -
my father in law has been researching a glider for his farm. Hes a diesel mechanic for the past 25 years and his company has several custom built glider day cabs from fitzgerald using the DD 60, says he likes the C15 cause its so easy to work on, and likes the N14 because of parts being cheap, and the parts availability.
dannythetrucker and blairandgretchen Thank this.
