DART.... Anyone have any recent experiences with DART ?

    Been searching the forum for recent info on DART, but everything I find is from 2014 or older. Does anyone have any more current info or experience with DART ?

    As I told you before you will not get rich, you will take home some were about 850 to 1600 per week before tax, you can and will own the truck after you pay it off, but as I said before I leave because the pay was not enough to take care of my large family,

    Thanks..... I'm going to give them a try. After a month of thinking about it and finding out what I could, I made the decision.

    I even went over to the Sellersburg terminal twice to have a look around and talk to everyone I could. It's only about 90 minutes (or less) from home. That's one reason I was originally interested in DART.

    On both visits I talked to several people in the shop, several people in the office, and a few drivers.

    Everyone was real helpful.

    I go to orientation on Monday September 18th.

    Please don't do it! You will struggle to make money with heavy cheap freight. $1k a week is no better than a company driver and you have all the expenses.
    Buy a truck and lease to someone else.

    Thanks for your reply... Have you worked for Dart in the past year or so ?

    I'm trying to get some info on the culture at Dart.... a feel for what the company is like. How organized is the company ? How realistic is dispatch's expactions ? Who are Darts big customers / accounts other than Target and Georgia Pacific ?
