dash cam in truck???

Actually yeah! It seems where ever there are casinos, where people lose everything, that they will try that. Its all over the country, I have had cars sit and wait at green lights, thinking the truck driver behind was dumb and stupid and would gas on it, hoping that they would get hit. I had one woman once at a green light, I could see her face in the car mirror as she kept glancing back and looking at me while gripping tightly onto her steering wheel. Many times I have had cars try and do this, and then each time, the car would really 'gas on it', leaving you sitting there looking like a fool while the light is green. lol

On t.v. day and night are these blood sucking attorneys telling people they can get huge money for being in a car wreck. Its so sad and pathetic, they actually try and make it seem like a person has won the lottery or hit really big on a slot machine by being in an accident.

Thats why I pray everyday, constantly, and I have a brain. Even if most of the people in these cars don't!

 

its a good thing that our trucks take a second or two to actually start to move forward haha!

 

Happened to my buddy last week in MN.

Luckily he stopped in time but the girl got mad and called 911 on him. He called the cops because she began to follow him through neighborhoods, he almost got to his home and she did a u turn in the highway. she wouldn't give out any info to the cops as to who she was or nothing.

Cops say people do this all the time, if she wasn't in the wrong why wouldn't she tell the cops who she was?

Check out dashcamusa.com I ordered a dashcam from Bill and it is on its way. He is a former driver and started selling those. He has an add in the OOIDA Landline magazine and you can get a rebate through that add as well. I wish I would have had it this morning due to some road rage incident in front of me. I could have given a nice little movie to the Washington State Patrol to have a talk to the idiot fire fighter in his pick up. Had the Maltese sticker and the personalized fire fighter plates on the pick up. Maybe if you act and drive like that don't have plates like that. Sure makes the rest in that profession look bad.

 

I had a guy, who was stopped at a red light and threw his car in reverse and floored it towards me, but he stopped short of hitting me got out of his car flipped me off, laughed and took off. So you never know.camera just might save your ### some day.

Don't spend $100 on a camera unless you're wanting top of the line, and there really aren't any name brand guys making them yet. They're all cheap and Chinese made, so please don't pay a huge markup for no reason. Amazon sells the same models that the truck stops do for around $30. I think there's a couple links in my thread I linked above. The video I took was using a $28 camera from Amazon, the EXACT same model as Petro sells, without the fancy Top Dawg or whatever name printed on it.

 

great vid, I once saw a silvered hair granny on her way to church one sunday morning going the wrong way on the expressway. I am sure she didn't realize that she was on her way to heaven a bit sooner than she planned.

 

It doesn't have a name lol, check the link I posted on the last page of the thread I linked above, I think it's $21 and something on Amazon now. Or just go on there and search dash cameras, any of the models under $50 are cheap but effective.
