No airbag deployment from a Volvo? after a hit like that?

Flat Earth Trucker and silverspur Thank this.

The right lane on that bridge is narrow. Left is regular size

Now is there a video of the recovery of that truck…I bet it was interesting

It maybe where the cool people drive but, its where I drive on a bridge. I drive in the left or center lane if there is multiple lanes, and this video is exactly why. If anything happens, if I have a steer tire to go or whatever, I have at least one lane one either side of me. I don't want to be riding that right hand bridge railing when a steer tire goes.... or a car comes across from the oncoming traffic like it did in this situation/video. Again, I don't want to be riding that far right railing when a car comes from the other side.
Yall can call me cool or a wuss or whatever you wanna call me but on a bridge, I'm gonna be at least one lane over from the rail.
Even the bridge in Lake Charles, La that says all trucks right lane... sorry, I'll take a ticket. I'm gonna be in the left lane.hotrod1653, Bud A., exhausted379 and 3 others Thank this.
