I’m sorry but for me that’s a 35-40mph road in those conditions and soon as I see someone’s hazards I’m sowing the hell down to 20-25 to figure out what’s going on.

 

In a crazy way, I think that's the crux of the whole problem. Drivers are more concerned with how much time they have left, and lose track of the actual driving experience. Now clearly, most of us, see trucks slowing down, conditions getting worse, most of us know, from experience, trouble most surely ahead. It's one of the few gratifying moments in a cautious drivers life, when an idiot passes them, and then wrecks up ahead. You'd love to go up to them and shake them silly, and maybe, in a twisted way, posting this may make other idiots back out of it in a similar situation, but I know that's asking a lot.

 

Or in better conditions, attracts the attention of Law Enforcement and gets a ticket. There is justice in the world.

 

This idiot is probably one of those supertruckers rolling past talking crap on the radio about those wussies that have never seen a little ( snow or ice or fog or a downpour or traffic) and how they think us wussies driving according to conditions should stick to sitting in a truck stop and not being out here in their way.

Suck my stacks supertrucker. Yer gonna git yours real soon. Hope you don't kill anyone else out here when you do.

The crazy thing is, the only reason someone would post a video like this, is there must be some sort of sick pride in doing this.

I'd like to believe that this time, I really would, but you know what will happen. This guy will whine like a bad bearing, how he was forced to stay on schedule, they'll whap his Pee-Pee, and he's probably still driving today. Now, if this yahoo had to PAY for all the damage he caused, or spend 10 years in one of those urine soaked heck hole prisons in Peru, that would be a heck of an incentive for people to be more careful, but this is America, where I hear, in todays prisons, there's like a 2 hour waiting list for the tennis courts.

We had a subcontractor put all the cameras in our truck, guy didn't even have a CDL. I told my boss not only were the cameras in a bad spot (outside of the windshield wiper stroke) but they were actually blocking my view.

Had to wait until another driver had an accident with "unusable footage" before they listened to me.
