Dash cam video released from Ohio trooper’s violent rear-end crash into semi

I have been retired for a while now we just had outer. Never heard from any level of departments having inner facing. Just body cams these days.

 

I see, thank you. Yea I guess I just assumed there was one up to watch whoever was in the back seat cuffed but I guess that’s just for tv.

 

We didn’t have cages. When we arrested someone we put them in the passenger seat. We would turn our cameras to record the ride to the jail.

 

We had some that were inner facing digital Ally cams. Looking at that crash I am surprised he wasn't seriously injured. Glad he's ok

 

Was truck driver cited for doing 0.5 mile slower then posted speed limit?

 

He was probably engaged with the laptop.

Look at recent enforcement and stricter regulations surrounding rear underride protection, reckless or not, the article promotes how the idiot survived,

Call me whatever you want, i trust no media outlet with video footage that doesnt fit the current narrative law enforcement wants to push, this DOES fit their preference, which is "rear underride saves trooper's life" even when everything shows he was a moron

A couple of years ago a similar accident involved a Connecticut state trooper and he slammed into the rear end of a semi that was in the truck climbing lane on I-84 westbound near the Massachusetts state line. The trooper was killed on impact.
