Dash cam video released from Ohio trooper’s violent rear-end crash into semi

They can’t pull his certification. What happens around here is they end up at some small department that hires pretty much anyone. It also depends on what he injured.

Why would a cop have been driving THAT FAST after dark ?
We he responding to a call with no blinky lights on ?

Was he off duty ?
I read in one article that he was not in uniform and was off duty .
Not sure how accurate it was .

wonder what their department regulation is for exceeding the speed limit without using the lights and siren ?

will the department release the date dump from the onboard computer that will show how fast he was going ?

 

Nah, he might get fired from the state but he will wind up in some podunk town.
We need a national database for cops, like the DAC and PSP .
When they get fired from one place they just go down the road and get hired again.

I actually got out of a log book ticket years back in Ohio. All i had to do was start talking about Ohio State football, then the trooper forgot he was doing an inspection on me lol
