    Sorry to disappoint .
Thanks for calling Me A liar .

I have a amazingly spotless driving record.
The revenue collection officers have not and will not get a dime of my money .

if there is so much more to policing than traffic ticket revenue, why do they spend so much time with chicken #### traffic stops ?
Because it’s a vague excuse for a fishing expedition in the hopes of collecting more revenue by talking the driver into letting you search their vehicle ?
My father was a LEO for 34 years and taught me at an early age how to say “I don’t consent to searches, am I free to go ?”
That’s quicker than my favorite ; “ please clearly articulate your probable cause. and I will consider your request “

Nowdays , it’s all About the money . And the “contacts “ Nothing else.
This police department fired officers for failing to meet their required quota of 100 traffic tickets and “contacts” per month .
Then denied they had a quota even after one of the officers recorded their supervisor telling them “you do NOT want to be the officer that fails doesn’t have enough contacts “

Auburn PD ticket quota issue grows as both sides dig in their heels

Their main goal is to move as
Much money as possible from our pockets to theirs .

Here’s a Georgia podunk sheriffs department that spends all day running radar on the interstate , and arrested someone because their fine upstanding highly educated officer had never seen a Canadian drivers license .

I can Do this all day.
there is an endless endless amount of stores of crooked corrupt cops.

did you watch the video of the Tennessee DICE cops yet?
It’s made up of nothing but corrupt money hungry cops who do NOTHING but traffic stops all day

    faux_maestro and gentleroger Thank this.

they’ve managed to scrub most of This story from The web ,
But a deputy from Lumpkin county sheriffs Department drove in uniform,
I’m his marked patrol car , to
Another county, while drunk, and attempted to kidnap a woman who refused to go out on a date with him.
She managed to dial 911 before he ripped the phone out of the wall.
    The responding officers ,
Amazingly , arrested him for DUI ,
    Drunk and disorderly and kidnapping.

he had a long history of job hopping after he kept getting fired from departments
But what do you know , poof , all
    His charges just disappeared .
Poof , just disappeared , and they’ve scrubbed almost all mention of the story from the internet .

it’s not 1% bad apples . this guy was working for a department with 16 officers .
It would be 1% if he was working for a department with 100 officers . But it’s
More like 25% for this particular department . Maybe more since he’s not their only cop with issues . And that’s just the ones that got caught.

So I’m guessing you think we shouldn’t comment about politics either,
Until we start a super pac and collect millions in bribes , uh, I mean campaign contributions, and run for office and get elected .
Only then will we be qualified to comment on politics and how we are tired of taxes and taxes and
    More taxes from hypocrites?

that because we’ve not Been to post training that we aren’t qualified to comment on how expecting police to be honest and accountable?

the lawsuit settlements should be paid from the departments pension fund not by the taxpayers.
Until it hurts the departments finances , and until officers are no longer exempt from lawsuits by qualified immunity , nothing will ever change .

And let’s talk about Garrity .

how officers get off scot free on crimes if they talk about them ?

is that available for us mere worthless civilians ?
    Didn’t think so .

    Comment all
Comment all you want problem is y'all's Quest to make the world a better place is directed in the wrong direction. I didn't know crap about driving a truck until I started doing it. Direct your energies to the corrupt DA' s in the inner cities letting everyone out of jail and municipalities like San Francisco that refuse to prosecute thefts for less than 1000 bucks. Qualified immunity, that's a whole other story. Both of y'all
No not getting a good signal at this shipper to watch the video. You sure don't seem like the child of a 34 year LEO, seems you would know better about it all being about writing tickets...bs detector is going off. Maybe he wasn't a street cop who knows. You obviously have an agenda and a slanted view..why don't you direct your energies to the corrupt DA' s in the inner cities letting everyone out of jail and not prosecuting criminals for thefts under 1000 bucks. The real problem in America is crime, gangs, drugs, fatherless kids, no family structure, no morals, etc. 34 killings in Chicago over the weekend.. And here you are worried about cops writing tickets and having a quota in some small town..like that's the real problem..it's society not the police.., are you kidding me? .are there problem officers,, yes..but not near to the extent you think it is.. You got a clean record..go sign up!

Some of us actually have-the problem is we AGED OUT…
About 10 years ago I took the LEO exam in my state to apply for either the state police, county sheriffs or local police department. Passing score on the test was 80%,I got a 93%. The problem was candidates for the state police academy could be no older than the age of 35(they like ‘em young). At the time the exam was administered it was 2 MONTHS past my 35th birthday! If I was 34 when the exam was administered chances are I’d be a DOT officer writing up drivers left and right for bad brakes, leaking axles and who knows what else!lol

Here in SC you get hired by a PD or Sheriff’s office and they send you to the police academy and you receive pay while you are training as long as you don’t fail out. The Highway Patrol is a lot harder to get on to and there’s a separate academy because of all the collision investigation added on.

    Same here
When I was young enough , you had to be a state representatives nephew or something if you wanted to get a state job

Now those same agencies are begging for employees.
