Hello fellow driver's I drive for 1920 Transport been there for 3 year's 7 month's now and they have these camera's in all the truck's now and I know they lie about watching you I believe they are watching you all the time,I'm currently on a 3 day suspension because I covered the camera, they couldn't wait to pounce on me for interrupting their fun view,I feel our constitutional right's are being wiped away ohh that's right we are truck driver's we have no right's or so they think, well the way I see it there is no winning because these idiot's who never have even driven a truck is going to watch and police everything you do,stuck for now butt always looking to better myself only reason I'm here is because I want to be home with my family, these thing's suck and we can just add them to the list of the thing's that are against us.

This is a continuation they do use the camera to discipline the driver for hard breaking seat belt cell phone use without a headset like I said they watch you all the time yes you can trigger the camera and that is when it will record the incident that triggered it but they watch you and they police you all the time!!!

I agree completely but as i stated I'm trying to be home with the family so I'm just going to have to suck it up and let me say I don't like it at all but,I hear it is coming everywhere and to add they say we can't smoke in the truck's anymore but,I'm still smoking been smoking 30 year's and smoking and trucking are one in the same to me.

I would invest a few hundred $ in costumes, maybe learn to do some stage makeup. Everyday look like a different person, let them figure it out. Mustache Joe on Monday, Turban Tuesday, maybe a wig and giant novelty nose on wednesday? Or if the cam is set for IR, build an Infrared LED cap for 30$ to blind the receiver, and only drive at night lol. All kidding aside, it is their truck... If you don't want a camera go with another company.

So, since they "watch" you constantly, that means they have hired more people. That means if the company has 500 drivers, they have hired at least 500 "camera watchers", right ? I hope it pays good because that would be the most boring job out there. Sitting watching for 10 hrs a truck driver driving. Anyway, I wouldn't ever go into a bank anymore or a truck stop fuel desk or a convienence store or a casino or drive down most public streets in large cities since all have cameras "watching" you.

It might seem now since CSA makes them somewhat responsible for drivers actions, it's a liability issue. CSA was no good on many levels however ever since 9 11 and the Patriot acts, kiss rights bye bye. The terrorists did exactly what they wanted to do.

It all comes down to cost. Most companies will not dare use a driver facing camera. My concern is when insurance companies start pushing this agenda on trucking companies..First thing they need is a third party to "prove" that cameras will save on costs. Then they will become the standard.
