And for future reference go pro suggests class 10 cards in all their cameras.
Why? Because a faster card yields better quality of video.

Jeese what a climb down. You could've just said oops I was wrong. Crb did indeed say class 4 cards can not be used for HD, then you chimed in right behind him.
And you are still maintaining that 1080P is different on different SD cards. That just isn't so no matter how much you may believe otherwise. The 1080 stands for 1080 lines of resolution. It's the same number of lines no matter how fast the I/O device writes them. Resolution isn't a screen size if that's what you're thinking. -
So what? Did someone say class 10 cards couldn't be used for HD video?
And no, it isn't because faster cards produce better quality video at the same resolution. It's because newer cameras can use higher resolutions than 1080P and need to be able to write faster in order to store that much data in real time. -

Give this a good since you have issues understanding the difference. I'm going to bed now. I have an actual job I have to do tomorrow

The article you are citing now discusses the effect of various video compression algorithms. Different compression algorithms can make a big difference in video quality, but that has absolutely nothing to do with how fast a file gets written to disk. And most dash cameras produce uncompressed video anyway so the point is moot. -
