What he said!
22% of the load?? And they are doing him a favor with this? In this kind of deal where he's making all the payments and this BFI is only doing the administrative problems which are NOT worth 78% of the gross!
Heck NONE of these fleece/lease programs are worth them making more of the gross than the person that fell for them!!
These people are NOTHING BUT THEIVES!
This guy really needs to know that when it's a percentage you need to know what the gross is before agreeing to it! 22%? What a freaking joke when the bills are on you!
I'd stop and burn that POS truck to the ground!
DAT Trucking is now awarded Rollovers BFI award!
DAT Trucking. Can the best out there make this deal work?

Looks like a cab company got into trucking.
-
My trucker friend has just discovered that he also gets a fuel surcharge on top of the 22 percent of 30cents a mile..
But Do the math!!
Columbia SC to Dallas Tx at 1000 miles. 22 percent of 1575 was 346.00
30 cents a mile was 300.00 for the fuel surcharge.
346.00
300.00
_______
646.00
Now with the national average of 6 miles per gallon and average price of Diesel at 2.89. cost of fuel for the trip would have been about 481.00
646-481= 165.00
This comes out to 16.5 cents a mile.
Who would have been happy with the end result.
I ask you now who would leave Carolina Cargo to work at this rate? -
I have learned that in the end my friend received on top of 22 percent of the load, a 30 cents per mile fuel surcharge.
after all the expenses and taxes are paid from his check, the fuel surcharge is roughly what he ends up with.
The upside is that he has all these lease truck tax deductions at the end of the year to write off. -
i worked for them about 7 yrs ago i never had that deal must have change alot since then
