That’s unfortunate for Floridians. I don’t know how they would be to actually drive for, but not exactly a huge list of solid, mid-size carrier options in FL.

Props to owners for calling it quits before it was completely over though. Hopefully it’ll allow some of the drivers to keep a little workflow going for a week or two while they find another outfit.

You know the freight market is bad when you’re seeing more established companies ceasing operations after over 20+ years!

Unprofitable since 2023 due to flat and sinking rates. Hard to compete with the flood of cheap foreign labor out there.

Yeah, I want to give credit to the ownership of this company for shutting down and not leaving driver stranded. They actually planned it. And in their statement they said they are not bankrupt. Everybody will get paid. Everybody will be returned to the yard. They just came to the conclusion That there’s no profitability in the foreseeable future.

Congress really needs to take a hard look at what they’ve allowed to happen to the trucking industry and make some aggressive changes soon. We are past the point where we can just say this is another downturn and a good weeding out of the bad. What’s happening to the industry is far beyond that at this point. It’s basically being destroyed.

It would be impossible to put the genie back in the bottle at this point. The industry would have to be re-regulated and how do you attempt that when the gates have been open since 1980? They could stop issuing operating authority today and there would still be overcapacity in the market.

Dignified way to shut down a company. Says a lot about the ownership.
