Is it legal to work 10 days straight? Sure. But you have to watch your hours of service limits.
If you stay within 100 air miles of your base and return in no more than 12 hrs, then you can claim the 100 air mile exemption in 395.1(e).
If you work 10 days in a row, you need to watch your 70 hour/8 day limit in 395.3(b).dieselbear Thanks this. -
You would be out of hours after day 7 at least. (if the minimum hours in that period was 8, and a couple 10's or even a 12 thrown in)
You need to keep a recap with you to track your hours used and hours available. When you total up 68-70 hours, you need at least a 34 hour restart to reset your 70 hour clock. -
Thats too much trouble figuring that out, when the boss asks if I am interested in working on Saturday, I just day no.

You can work 8.75 hours per day every day and NEVER take a single day off. You can also work more or less on any particular day, as long as you keep track of your hours so as not to exceed 70 hours in 8 days.
When I was OTR, and was staying out 2 to 3 weeks at a time, that's how I ran...no point hitting 70 and needing a 34 hour restart until I could be home to take it.
