Days off and off time

Only day I'm guaranteed off if Sunday. Usually get a random day during the week and a couple times a month that off day is actually an on call day, so if someone calls off I have to go in. Then again I work for a tiny mom and pop produce company in Michigan.

 

There's some produce company near Detroit that runs and I don't know if it's a one off or what it is, but they run this Western Star 32ft straight truck that has as many axles as a dump truck you know how some dump trucks look like centipedes? I've never seen anything like it for produce work. Do you know what outfit that is?

 

Could be somebody that serves the Halal shops around the Detroit area. I would love to see that truck.
Don't get into Detroit at all.

Never seen produce hauled in a crazy Michigan truck. Taters and sugar beets though.

 

Yeah it was a Red Western Star Sleeper Straight truck it had tandem axles in the back and drop axles on the front and you know the refer above the cab like the straight trucks have. It was some small time distributor, but it had like a drop axles right behind the cab. I don't how they loaded it so heavy, but it was loaded.

 

Yeah this was right outside of Detroit probably around dear born. It looked like a truck that some small time 1 or 2 truck mom and pop produce company would have.
