DC Training in South Carolina?

    anyone here ever train there? www.dctraining.org cant seem to find much on them other than their website. kind of worries me that i dont see it listed when i search for schools in SC. Its really close to where i live. Any drivers here from the Florence/Columbia/Charleston area in SC?

    I am from that area but I have never heard of them. I went to school in Opelika, Al. Which is right on the other side of Columbus, Ga. My advice if you cannot find much info on them I would be very leary of going with them

    They might be legit; I see that they're a state government approved vocational school. Having said that, this is still not enough. The one question you should ask them is "are you certified via PTDI?" PDTI stands for Professional Truck Driver Institute, located in Alexandria, Virginia. This is a national certification, and any school with a PDTI certification is guaranteed to be the real deal.

    It's a question I should've asked before I went to school.
