I am very familiar with the DD 12.7 & 11.1L. I'm not ar all familiar with the DD 14L. My question is, will a 14L turbo work on a 12.7L and are there any advantage to doing so?

How powerful are your jakes? I want to get a dd60 but I heard the Jake's are not good and I learned trucking with good jakes so when I am going down a mountain I don't know how to conserve my brakes, or how many brakes I get before it's out of control going down the mountain, gives me peace of mind having that engine brake.

I had twin 14l dd60 set up in a boat, the engine was reliable. Leaked some oil, but I ran it at 2350rpm non stop, maintenance wasn't so bad, it was rescue boat for the coast guard, we abused that engine and it never let me down in 3 different ships. I'd trust that engine in any situation.

There's a man named Steven kron, i spoke to him on Facebook. He has a highly modified 60 series and he gets 10mpg, I haven't seen him post lately but it's really incredible what he's done with it. I reached out, he is happy to share his knowledge, i suggest you add him.
