Dd13 2015 not accelerating

Sometimes when I come to a complete stop and light turns green I press the throttle and it does not accelerate I have to release and press again for it to accelerate properly..it run good on the highway.... does anyone might know what this is ??

Is it an automatic? If so it's the transmission. It's trying to figure out WTF it's supposed to do.

Maybe your gas pedal Assembly, the throttle position sensor Is built into it and could cause that problem
