    12 Cascadia w/dd15 - 540k miles

Problem: looks like its not getting enough fuel mostly at low rpms (500-1100). You would put 100% throttle and ebgine sputters like it wants to die but it doesnt die duribg idle or rolling down the road in neutral. Also noticed same symptoms at highway speeds. Sometimes cuts out for few seconds and then ot gets tge power back.

Only codes I have are for Delta P (411spn) but i have been dealing with that for coyple of weeks so I dont think its a culprit.

It seems as its fuel/air related under a load but it cuts in and out but then again it doesnt die in idle which points me to maybe somethibg with fuel pressure ?

Oil and filters replaced with OEM at Speedco 12k miles ago.

Was this the same issue you had before regarding you delta P sensor? The MCM needs to know this pressure difference in order to calculate boost properly and to add the appropriate fueling amount per stroke per given RPM.

Do you have any fault codes? SPN/FMI

I mean this is first time this happened. Im trying to figure out why my delta P is throwing codes. It was a new sensor 2 months ago but when I take it off tgere is some soot amount on there. When I clean it , drive , restart it seems OK but then it goes back. What could be a cause of that ? Also what is a main purpose of the DeltaP? I do have a small coolant leak (notjing major , just some residue) on EGR cooler but the power is there so the actuator works fone.

That could be your answer. When was the last time you changed your EGR cooler. These go out when the truck's coolant hasn't been serviced frequently enough. Do you notice your surge tank gaining pressure? You could also be sucking in coolant to the intake. THIS IS BAD FOR THE SCR! Best to get it fixed ASAP.

I got the truck with 433k , current is 540k so i doubt it was replaced. As far as coolant I have a leak from Reservoir because i think upper plastic nozzle is cracked( small hose over it) how do I notice surge in the tank ?

What do you think about EGR throtlle sensor ? But then again there would be a code for it.

On the passenger side of the truck, all you have is an actuator for the EGR. It initializes it's stroke everytime you key on.

EGR coolers are known for leaking...eventually.

This is the EGR actuator (btw I don't know your exact DD engine is..but this is close enough):

Try watching this video...kinda nice if you have blockage.

Man to be honest the best fix would be to pull out that DD15 and stuff an older Series 60 in its place.
