You have zero control in this deal. Zero profit margin. Part of the reason you go into business anyway. Zero margin for rising operating cost. The truck is a 3 year old used unit with no warranty.

    Do not do this!

    Ribeye and rachi Thank this.

I won't say who, but I live in California! That's pretty average pay here!

This right here is why you shouldn't do it. You still have the mindset of chasing miles. Fast way to failure.

Those figures are the lazy mans work. 8091 miles for the entire month? That's an average of 2022 miles a week. An average of 404 miles a day. I could do that before I even had to take my half hour break. I often run more than that now where I am at, and I am home every weekend. I definitely would not do this deal. Seems like they can't get miles, as others said you won't have any control over much of anything, the truck is probably governed at a low speed also.

That looks like a quick way to go broke. I wouldn't do it. Save some cash then buy a truck on your own .

Chasing miles? Going by the examples they shared with him I would be worried to. The fuel expense, $2800 in fuel running 8091 miles for the month? HA! Yeah, right. They apparently don't pass on 100% of the FSC either. The FSC is variable, probably. And the avg. to the truck rate is $1.56 a mile. So if this is an old pay example the FSC was probably inflated.

Don't do it. Just take a little time to read some of the threads here. The success to failure rate is astronomically low. They'll turn you into a modern day slave living on the diesel plantation.

Those aren't very good numbers IMO. I pay myself more then your monthly projected profit Evey month. Look at my thread "my lease adventure" I post my numbers there. If you have any questions don't hesitate to ask.
