Sounds like the headlights for my lonestar. My specific lonestar has a specific set of headlights that were only made for about 100 of these trucks and have a diffrent shape at the back.
The more standard ones dont fit and would require a totally new hood which either wont fit and gap correctly as mine has a slightly longer front frame rail then normal or is 36K installed and painted for the correct one or hope i can find the correct one at a junkyard which considering they only made 100 of this specific length of hood....not happening.
You cant get these headlights anywhere. And they are a special order item. It is literally cheaper and faster to go to a 3rd party and have them make brand new ones custom to this truck then to get the OEM ones lol.W923, Rideandrepair, Feedman and 3 others Thank this. -
How was the trucking driving prior to taking it to the shop?
What are they claiming is wrong with the clutch?
Lots of those codes that pop up are ghost BS codes and just need to be cleared. I'd highly recommend getting yourself a program so you're able to do some self diagnosis/clear codes before taking it to the dealership and having them bend you over...Rideandrepair, AFC and Diesel Dave Thank this. -
Just one more example, to me, why all autoshifts are nothing but junk money pits. I drove one for 18 months. Never again. Bobtail, 1/2 inch of snow. Get the log chain out and hook up the pickup so you can pull it 2 feet because it won't move in higher than 2nd gear, just sits and spins.
Nothing but shop queens waiting on bs sensors that should be built to outlast the frame.
As for this driver, is the clutch bad? No one knows, the 'puter said the clutch is bad, but the "technicians" can't even get to it. Might need a clutch. Might need a sensor, might be a broken wire, might be a frayed wire grounding out. Might even be a fried "control module". They'll find out sometime next year when they call someone in that actually knows how to turn wrenches as well as look at a computer screen.
Sorry about your luck Driver. I hope your truck is back earning it's way before I suspect it will be.Rideandrepair, Opendeckin and AFC Thank this. -
I’d try to convince my significant other to take time off of work, and after she refused, I’d get in my personal vehicle and head south til I hit t shirt weather. Hang out til the trucks fixed and then see if theres work worth coming back for.

They had to do whatever the manufacturer Eaton in this case told them to do. They first ran the diag. Which said that it’s either a speed sensor or a rail? I forgot the second part of the code. They sent this to Eaton which then told them to drop the transmission and send them pictures of the clutches fingers. They did this and Eaton told them to replace the clutch.Rideandrepair, 77fib77 and JonJon78 Thank this.
