I accept the NLA with a PU window of up to 1230.
Get the LA, and the window changed to 1145.

I could have left at that instant and would still have been 10 minutes late.
But I still had stuff to do before I could roll, so I got there around 1215.

I was there for a live load, which ended up taking 3 hours.
So I did a mac 22 giving my new eta and pta times because time was that tight on this load.

About an hour later I get a message that my pta was reset to 1 hour after the original delivery time - for a live unload, and an hour earlier than the pta the system had originally given.

If it didn't piss me off so much, it would be rather funny.

I think a general strike is in order, until we can rid ourselves of Plus-1.

I am on one now that is a drop, time says 0001-0200 on the 4th. I sent arrival at 1700 on the 3rd, and it never kicked it back. Dollar General. Here is one that I was getting on MAC 30 the other day, about 4 times, pu at 0800-0815 and deliver to Clinton, IA, 800 miles away. Plus 1 was giving the driver 26 hours. The load was 45,500. Now tell me how Plus 1 is fiiguring this. Alot of hills and mntns in PA on the US Routes, and it thinks that you are going to avg 50mph. Not happening.

Well, the plan I just turned down was from Ft. Worth to San Antonio TX.
PU at 0800 and deliver 286 miles away at 1400.
Probably doable if it wasn't a live load and 40k.
Hazmat as well, so I have to waste more time calling a number before I leave and stop on the way for safety checks.
Not to mention more time with the paperwork and placards.

I had turned it down with a delivery ETA of 1600, but apparently that did not satisfy the customers needs.

I don't see why they want to rush a HM load.

Na was not doable if preloaded. Because of austin texas, i belive they pay people to drive from waco to san antonio and back. Dam city always busy and i always take the wrong way Between upper and lower

It seems like they are allowing less and less time lately.

And then they wonder why my load turn down rate is so high.

I have a feeling that they sent me a load they knew I would turn down, just so they won't have to pay layover.

I got off a load this morning around 1100, and only had 3 hours left on my 70. Only 5 coming back in tomorrow.
The system reset my PTA to 05/03 0015, then sent that pplan at around 2000.
    No new pplan yet.

I get that feeling ALL THE TIME.
Like when I T-call a load in Albuquerque @ 9:00 am then at 5:00 pm they send me a PP for a load that was supposed to pick up @ 10:00 am THAT DAY and deliver 90 miles away @ 3:00 pm THAT DAY. Since it's obvious that I cannot turn back time I turn it down and of course spend the night at the terminal knowing that I cannot get layover pay.

Thing is, if they really wanted the load picked up when they send the pp they could always send a note saying so.

As it is we have no choice but to refuse the load and put in realistic times, or risk a service failure.

They DO send notes asking me to "just do the best your can" or words to that effect. I always turn down the PP and put in realistic pickup & delivery times, and they ALWAYS remove the load saying it's doesn't comply with the customers requirements or some such BS.

Seems to me they want me to take the blame for the load being late and I'm not gonna play along.

Whenever they send that message to me I take the load.
When I'm loaded I put in a realistic time for delivery, and deliver by that time - unless it gets rescheduled.

As long as they send the message, we are off the hook.
