Me personally? Despite any market correction that may be coming, I think he should get out and specialize now.

No matter how much money he is earning at a mega, it is a pointless endeavor. He is as far as he will go in that company, outside of maybe training.

If I can get a bump to get me close to 60, I’ll stay. I do have the leverage of no issues and being on time always.

Well first of all, congratulations on making one year without any incidents. That's awesome.

Let me ask you this: what seems interesting to you in trucking? Tankers? Flatbed? Pulling doubles? What is your absolute dream job? Where would you have to go to get the experience necessary for that job?

$1150.00 per week x 46 weeks = $52,900. As I mentioned in a previous post, pretty much OTR Truckload average. Add extra $3000-5000 in accessorial pay annually, $55,000-58,000. I've worked a lot harder for less money in my lifetime.:D

I would get bored working 46 weeks, more like 50 if the money is there. So maybe 50x1150=57500 then accessory on top. But I get your point. I’d be leaving a known quantity for unknown.

You all have been helpful and given me lots to consider.

    That's where their
terminal is but you take the truck and trailer home. 3 weeks out 3 days home. Minimum salary is $65,000 or $1.250 week plus bonus money for more miles driven. While you are home you still get paid!

It does sound like a good company. Thanks for the info. Do you work for them?
