Asked this question on DeBoer and Schneider board and have not gotten any answers. Does anyone know why you see some DeBoer trucks pulling Schneider trailers? Did Schneider buy out DeBoer?

Don't have an answer for that....but....I have seen a SNI power unit pulling a Swift trailer around where I live once not to long ago.
Wished I had my camera for that one.

When I worked for them we would pull other companies trailers to shuttle them or because the other company needed it moved and didn't have a driver to do it. Schneider would have other companies pull theirs also.

This is quite possible in the early 80s my dad an 2 truck o/o shared an account with them after a couple months they suggested drop and hook and either one could pull the next available trailer back to WI the account was only for 4 trucks a week so it worked out well at the time
