I think you missing the point about Cowtown. You proclaim to be an experienced trucker yet you never heard Ft. Worth refereed to Cowtown? Okay that's strange but okay. Next, all the misinformation about paper loads. I wonder if you have ever pulled a paper load or not. I tell you what, google Cowtown and see what comes up....probaly going to be Ft. Worth. See this stuff makes me question your credibility, I think you are an imposter, maybe a rookie driver at best. Now there is no shame in being that by all means, but please stop with the experienced act.
I looked at your post in other threads and you have don't post much information to inexperienced drivers. Most of the time your just copying someone else.
I kind of thought that you were for real when you first posted on this thread when you said the Texarkana terminal was bad. But then I realized I had talked about that at one point and you probably got that from there. Also, what kinda answer is that, I mean you give nothing up at all. What would be the harm. Something is not right about you. You have way to many assumptions for an experienced driver.

I talked with them or a second since I moved from WI to TX and they run between those two points. They may be a decent training co but there pay for experienced drivers is insulting at best. I forget what they offered but I think it was $.32 , I made that 11 years ago. They wern't interested in negotiating it at all I told them that was way too low and they were like fine.. bye. I have experience with great references, record etc but I guess they just want nubes to take on and pay nothing while they wreck trucks and freight.

I believe I have stated that deBoer doesn't pay enough to experienced drivers. The last I heard they were going to fix that. I agree 100% that you deserve more than .32 a mile.
This comment is stupid and makes no sense as he can't back it up with facts. Oh yeah deBoer wants you to wreck their trucks and destroy freight. C'mon everybody....let's go wreck some trucks. Mr. deBoer wants his fleet wrecked, he can't wait.

Mine was governed at 70. I don't know but I know of a couple of other companies that are governed at less. Some may consider it slow, but I don't.

They govern at 68, then if you idle, they govern more. I like to be comfortable while sleeping and I do not like bugs in the truck or exhaust fumes, so I idle.

So needless to say, the truck is slow, my new CB handle is Moe, Molasses !

Just got back after two weeks of training.Worst time of my life ( almost). The driving was fine but the trainer was off. Even told me that most of his trainees don't make it. Is one shower every 2 weeks the norm?(not sayin' about the rest) If they wanted to get rid of me they should have just said so at orientation.
Ran into my school friend on the way home. He went out with Werner for 3 weeks and had great time. They want their people clean. He goes back next week to finsh training.
Now don't take this the wrong way. I know it's a hard job and sometimes "Ya got to do what ya got to do". And I could have got another trainer,But had already lost most of my interest in OTR.Maybe the man was trying to do me a favor, reality check or something.
I got even more respect for you drivers now.Take care and God Bless!
All you wanabees might want to think again,it ain't no high school roadtrip.

I don't need to back up anything actions speak louder than words. You have a whoping one year experience so you really know nothing about what this industry is/ was/ is going to be. Mabey you havn't learned yet to look at actions and not promises in this industry.

Offering $.32 a mile to a guy with 13 years driving experience, a perfect safety and delivery record (with references to back it up) diesel mechanic experience/ not to mention I ran my company trucking company for 6 years before ever driving....... Is a hell of an insult in my book. So the only logical conclusion to come to is that it is cheaper for them to train nubes even though they hit things, people. COnstantly quit once they find out truckng is really about etc etc. And I don't care what you think, the fact is new driver DO that in abundance. There is a reason good companies and insurance companies won't take people with no experience

And maybe you haven't learned to spell. Please God somebody tell me when I said I knew everything about the industry, anybody? All these guys keep harping on my one year experience. I merely pointed out that in MY opinion deBoer is a good company. That's all I did. Now this guy says that the only logical conclusion is that deBoer must only want to hire newbies so that they hit things. Anybody else seeing a disconnect here. I stick by my statement that your post was stupid. You have never worked for deBoer, how would you know?
By the way how much time does it take to know exactly what the industry is/was/ is going to be? Ever noticed that experienced guys in every industry always look down on the newer guys? HMMM.....enlighten me then. Also, I stated that I believe you deserve more than .32 a mile. But please don't tell me how deBoer always hires new drivers that want to wreck stuff, you sir do not know.
