I think that would work well. I'll have to relocate a air tank, but that's no problem.

Keeping the bike clean would still be a challenge... I remember one hand who mounted what looked like a custom cargo box on the catwalk behind his sleeper, only it was made of plastic or fiberglass. He kept his mountain bike inside the box... dunno if I have a picture, but it was an interesting concept, since it offered more protection from the road grime & salt someone else already mentioned. I think if I were gonna do this, I'd probably go with one of those electric bikes that could handle some trail riding, as it would be lighter. Covering it and keeping it clean would be a priority...

I keep my bicycle in the truck, but I like to wander a lot. The motorcycle gives me virtually endless possibilities depending on weather.

For that, a person could just mount one of those hitch-mount, RV storage boxes and just use the box.

There’s someone in the RV world who make a motorcycle ramp system for semis converted to 5th wheel toters. I’ve seen too many of them in FL for them to all be custom.

A cheap $20 boat hand crank can do a lot of lifting. Especially with a pulley or two involved. Each pulley cuts the effort in half. I use one around the house. Pulled a whirlpool tub straight up through the ceiling/ floor. Old washer up the basement stairs, An electric winch would be better. Maybe a ramp of some sort. Set it on the catwalk. A couple tarps, One wrapped from the bottom, covered with another over the top. Can’t wait to see what you decide. That’s a great idea. Something I’ve always wanted to do.

That would be the ultimate. Maybe a folded up flip down ramp that goes over the fifth wheel. Drop Trailer, and ride it off, and back on.

The Railsplitter and ducnut Thank this.

You’d have to be an owner operator to even consider this setup. No way any company I know of would allow you to do this setup. That said I do have a folding electric bike I put in my bunk. Cruises at 15-20mph with a 30 mile range. Has a headlight, taillight etc and cargo basket. It gets me where I need to go. Can’t imagine have a full motorcycle. That would be a dream

Hahahaha! I think it's actually a pretty easily designed, and marketable product.

Seems most drivers forget there's a world out there other than interstates, truck stops, and traffic jams. Easy opportunity to recreate would sell.

I met a Bedbugger once from California. He had his Harley in the nose of his Trailer. Ultimate set up.
