I gotta say, Im confused. If i decide to get my permit here in FL, I will then have to fight like hell to get back to FL in time to switch ??
My permit was only 26 buxs had to retake the test. If you get the permit up there your stuck for 3wks vs. 2wks if you come with your own. Either way you go it's still gotta be transferred back lol.
Guess I need to go back and double check that. There's still the matter of getting an approved physical, isn't there ?
They do the physical up there, I came with my own card an they wouldnt accept it. So now I have 2 dot cards
So, to get this back on track....I will be starting on August 6th in Cedar Rapids. I asked the recruiter a LOT of questions. One that I asked is about the high turn-over rate. It has been said here over and over; if you LIE or OMIT on purpose ANYTHING on your application, you are going home. He told me it's not a vacation (who would think it is?), and the Number One: Positive for drugs. It was also mentioned about whether you want to work or not. Sometimes people think this is going to be a cake walk. If you've done your homework, it's not. Be prepared. Eventually, you'll make some $$$$, but like everyone else before you, you have to earn your wings. See you all out there on the road soon!!
