Decided to go with CRST

I talk to a recruiter today...and how long does it take to find out if you got excepted??because she told me I will be going to cedar rapids..she just waiting for my background check!!!

 

Usually not too long. I actually got approved during my first phone call...well, second one, actually. But only one day apart

 

Everyone gets approved over the phone, when they get you in the $&@? Hits the fan. Lol

 

Well she said I was approved..she just want my background check...so hopefully I will be going with in the month..

 

One thing to keep in mind is they are most concerned with your MVR. That they do run before they bring you up. Its the criminal check they wait to do. Thats the one most people get bounced out based on. At least from what Im reading for the last year....

Since you put it that way it might just be the thing for you. I'm just trying to look out for fellow drivers. A lot of people go into it believing their lies and get very upset only to find they are stuck for 8 months (which is really a year since you need that 1 year experience to go anywhere else). I don't recommend jumping ship at 8 months unless you find a good solid job you know you will like. I have found 2 years is better and with the same company. Keep your record clean with 2 years at the same company and you'll find some pretty sweet driving jobs. Hang in there and good luck. Just make sure you read everything you sign and listen to all they require, which is a lot.
