I read on Roehl website that you must sign a contract for 15 months if you go through their CDL training. Then i read on this forum that if you quit before the 15 months you need to pay them $3,000 for the training.
Right now i have no savings to go to a private school and i have no credit so that's out. I went through the starting process of the WIA program but it seems like a lot to do and will take a month or two i bet IF i get approved. Then when i get approved i have to go to the CDL school and that takes how long? There is also a possibility i may not qualify for the WIA and i wasted all that time.
So I will be delayed about 3 months or more before i can start driving.
So my thoughts are to go with the Roehl in house cdl training that way i can get the show on the road. And since i will be saving the bulk of my check every week I can have $3,000 saved up easily within 3 months to give Roehl if the company isn't a good fit for me. Even though i'm going to try to stick it out for the contract term.
Does this sound like a good plan? Also if you break the contract early is their any other things they can do to me? Or is it a clean break just paying them back for the training?
thanks
Decided to go with Roehl part2
