I am trying to decide. I have pre-hires from 1) Knight, 2) Boyd Bros, 3) Maverick Trans.... Any advice?

Do more research on each of them. What do you want to pull... flatbed, box, reefer? Which have terminals close to you for hometime? What are the different pay programs? Do your research and make the best educated decision you can and stick with it!

I wouldn't work flatbed, personally, but I have a family member that works for Boyd and they seem honest and helpful. However, he lives near a yard for them and he's not a driver that needs a lot of "hand holding.'

Is there a Terminal or yard for these companies near your home? Your drive to from the house from their yard will happen on your "off" time. Most newbies severely underestimate their need for home time, which leads to family troubles which makes it very hard to be happy in the industry.

Finding a place to work is more like finding a pair of shoes than anything else. Even the best pair of shoes, which do not fit you, are not much good.
