I searched the forums and found a few hits, but nothing very, um, shall we say, useful.

Do any of you have current or recent experience with Decker that you're willing to share?

    Thanks in advance.

    Rollr4872, x1Heavy and Mike2633 Thank this.

I never worked there, however when I was looking for a job out of truck school I did call there recruiter he was pretty nice and told me sorry you aren't really aren't from a school I hire out of, but they have nice shiny trucks. I think they have pretty high standards which can be a good thing. I know that's probably not very useful, but they were one of my top picks.

Yep, and they have a reefer terminal in Missoula, which is 2 hours from my home.

    Sounds like a decent outfit.

First I've heard of that. Thanks, I'll try to find out more.

And that's too bad. When you read the IRS rules on per diem you discover not everyone is eligible. Yet they force everyone on it.

I spoke to a recruiter there a long time ago. I think that was one of the turn offs for me.

I heard they pay percentage. I went to Van Wyk, who also pays percentage and there were drivers in the lounge that came over from Decker and they were talking about it. If I remember correctly it was 21% of the load. That was in 2011. So it might’ve changed by now
