Does anyone know about these routes ? I have been thinking about getting my CDL and a instructor from SAGE school told me that if I get my CDL US Xpress has a lot of dedicated from Indiana and could be home daily HMMMMM ???????
I am sure I would need to ride with a trainer for awhile but I need a job like just driving somewhere and back every day with weekends off.
This may be a long shot but if anyone knows how US Xpress runs , I live north of Indy and I think I would be good for this type of job.
Could possibly do a couple overnighters but prefer to be home.
Are there jobs like this in Indiana ???
Dedicated routes out of indiana

Old Dominion would be better with a line haul job. Line haul is terminal to terminal, drop & hook. The way to get this job is to have a face to face meeting with the terminal manager. The terminal manager has the power to hire new cdl grads.
BigTennOTR and dennisroc Thank this. -
I remember a guy in Indiana got on running from Indy to Nashville and back , I think his name was Jello or something like that. Seemed like he liked it.
This type of job would be great for me. I think I will check them out on here. -

The dedicated you are talking about are mostly Wal-Mart accounts. Yes they have openings all the time. The reason for that is that the pay is sub par for the area so people will use them til they have enough experience to move on to something better. Also, you will find yourself running nights on occasion. Ive filled in for the accounts in Auburn and one closer to Indy (Gas City I think) Id do them for a couple days and then go back to OTR because there just wasn't enough money in it for me to help beyond 1 or 2 loads. But I'm also at the top of the pay scale.
