OK, don't know if this has been posted before. I drive a '12 670, w/ aprx 167K. When I fill the DEF tank from a pump, it seems to cut off all the time. pumps for 2-3 seconds then pump shuts off like its full. Took 15 minutes to pump 8 gallons. if hold flow real slow, no interruption. Different stations same thing. Is something wrong with the pumps or my truck?

No there are magnets on filler neck and pumps handle is shutting off because of that. You're having that problem at T/A or Petro right ? Try it at loves or the J. i had DEF tank, on wrong side so i would refill the containers then put it in the tank, cuz the pump is on driver side.

Hmmm i only had prob at T/A and Petro. Someone told me if you hold magnet to nozzle it will work, i never put that to the test as just carry jugs and refill at the terminal, and occaisionally buy a 2 gallon

I normally use bulk in the yard but I did just fill at Sapps and had no problem. There was nothing sofisticated about their setup

So what was it? I checked and the filter is there in the neck. Reccommend changing every 100000 miles i think.
