finally heard back from the department head at the RMV, seems that unless Prime will allow someone to test in massacusetts not missouri, then you would have to test and pay twice, move to missouri and stay employed for 2 yrs or do it all in massachusetts
-
so according to my recruiter, you can keep your missouri cdl for the alloted time needed to transfer it back to your current state, if there is a time requirement. this is way too much crap to sort haha, but i am scheduled for the last week in october unless something goes crazy
-
I'm sure you'll figure it out once you're there in person. It's much easier to deal with details that way.

You've got to think about this in what's the worst case with a positive outcome. First, you have to pay a second license fee... $30-$40-$50 or something like that. Second, you have to take the written and a drive test - BUT YOU'VE ALREADY BEEN DRIVING FOR QUITE AWHILE. So what? You're a professional driver - and you don't KNOW this stuff? You don't HAVE the skills?
If you can't pass this stuff a second time, you have no business being on the road with the rest of us. -
"Some people just hate taking tests," he says, looking in a mirror, knowing that he has given hundreds of practical and written tests and has taken quite a few himself in a 45-year career.
-
i can pass them no problem, i have a cdl b so its basically the same test, im just cheap and didnt wanna pay twice lol and its 150 here
DenaliDad Thanks this. -
Save the receipts and write it off on your taxes. Justifiable business expense.
-
ya but doesnt mo.just give you a temp.cdl a paper license since the address prime gives you is a temp. address? if so you couldnt keep a temp.paper license for 2 years?
-
the recruiter said it was a full cdl not a temp, cuz i specifically mentioned it was a temp cdl
