It's not so much you have to pay back the premiums. It is the penalties they add to the Part B premiums FOR LIFE. Here is a calculator!

Example. The current premium is $174. If you fail to pay for 24 months you will be required to pay $208.80 a MONTH for the rest of your life!!!! This amount will increase as the premiums go up over time!
