    make sure to pack your BOL'S with you into the ports.

    they've started asking if your delivering and want copies of bills now.

    save yourself the hassle of 2 trips inside the port.

    if your just passing through. no bol's asked for.

    WY and CO have always asked to see your BOL's but they dont keep copies of them. They just want to know what you are hauling.

    Are you saying they are photo copying the bol's? That's news to me if so. I've never been not asked to SEE the bol's in WY.

    wyoming is copying now. said new procedure 2 months ago. they've never asked before. and the last time i rolled through was 4 weeks ago. hauling heavy.

    colorado has never stopped me let alone ask for my bol's.

    That is a new one on me. I run through the ports in WY all the time. They usually ask what you are carrying but have never asked to see BOL. I just came through the port on US 85 south of Cheyenne on Thursday, 4 days ago.

    I used to go inside in Wy. POE, then it dawned on me, they are so busy and really not paying much attention to what's going on, so I just pull around back, sit in my truck for 2 minutes, then proceed to drive out. This was some years back, and I haven't been thru there recently, so, it may not work TODAY with all the current high tech stuff out there. I also remember Ar. POE at night with just one "officer" on duty with his own vehicle parked outside. So, could he actually chase you down if you blew the scale ? I'll admit, I liked to "live on the edge" and take risks, at times.

    they don't ask to see your bol unless your delivering IN the state.
