    When it comes to your weed use....... shhhhhh. As long as you're not using, your past is nobody's business. Don't volunteer information that is not asked. There is no such thing as lying by omission.

    Fight the urge to volunteer that type of info to the next prospective employer, fam. You won't last long in this industry if you are too honest. After being blacklisted from trucking back in 2011, telling a little white lie actually helped me get my foot back in the door by Sept 2014. I learned over the years that we have to be selective about what we choose to disclose to our employers even though it might be eating at our conscience. If they don't have proof that I did it, then it just didn't happen ;). Moral of the story: stop throwing yourself under the bus.
