Department of transportation is revoking 17,000 CDL‘s issued by the state of California

Here is an example why the news is corrupt.

Duffy is not removing 17,000 CDLs; he gave everybody 2 whole years to straighten out their non-domiciled CDL issues.

The 17,000 CDLs are almost exclusively not fraudulent in the way described; They just don't have dates that match immigration papers.

Almost all the the 17,000 CDLs will be reissued with dates matching immigration papers.

So really this entire story as presented is misleading.

 

I still think they should go through them and look to see if they have a valid CDL license and school. That they can read road signs. I just went through CDL school and I had to do all of that and even take a real drive test with a state driving inspector and he asked me not once but twice what the road signs were as I passed them on the highway road test. No one should be driving these trucks without knowing how to read a road sign and speak english.
