Wont effect your e log. I had a choice disconnect speed sensor. Go unload them drive to dealer. Or call tow truck, speed sensor won. Didnt effect Qualcomm at all.

Even if the Qualcomm didnt work. Screw safety there not paying your $$$$$ tow bill. So simply tell them when asked. You had truck breakdown problem it must have effected the q com. Your putting truck in shop.Dave_in_AZ Thanks this.

That sounds like an interesting thing to try... but the problem is, I don't even have any active emissions codes anymore. The only active codes I have are the 5246 derate codes and the 5397 too many regens code. And I get 80% nox conversion efficiency already when I run the regen. From what I've been able to find out, it seems that the truck is locked in limp mode that only the dealer level DDDL can clear. (I am running forced regens by pressing the dashboard button)
-
its your fault that you have regulatory codes. When you see spn 3364 does not go away after driving 30 min you need to stop and let nox sensor sniff clean air so regulatory codes wont login. Do what I said above and all regulatory codes will be cleared. done it many times ))) I keep one nox outlet sensor in my truck .
If your diagnosticlink can start parked regen you can fix this issue.roshea, Dave_in_AZ and PermanentTourist Thank this. -
Great idea, I'm going to do it from now on. Meanwhile, right now I'm going to try it anyways and hopefully it works. I'll let you know, thanksDave_in_AZ and mhyn Thank this.

remember back to back 2 regens. diagnosticlink link must it start and wait until it stops. Monitor right bottom area of screen.Dave_in_AZ Thanks this.
-
The regen must be initiated by the diagnostic link, not the dash button?
-
by diagnosticlink. go to DPF section and scroll Parked Regen and follow instruction. It may say push the botton on dashboard or may not say it. Depends of ACM software version.Dave_in_AZ Thanks this.

Run a tank with Lucas 'deep clean' every 10,000 miles to keep the DEF system clean.
-
Is that a special thing for the d e f tank, or is it just a diesel additive?
