So what is the plan? Tow to dealer? Try removing speed sensor?

I have a guy with a DDDL laptop coming out in half an hour. Hopefully his is less lithuanian than mine and will actually work. If not, then my next step is getting the load repowered. I hate to do that, two years with landstar and still a clear record as far as breakdowns/repowers.

Yup, it didn't. The hacked software is showing 100% conversion efficiency, but codes didnt drop after button regen. I even tried to go to detroit diesel website and just buy/download the expen$$ive software right now, but there is some lengthy approval process involved. I signed up, but it won't help me deliver the load on time if they take a week to decide if I'm worthy of giving them my money.

I would gladly drop $5k right now if it meant being back on the road today and delivering in Iowa on time on Monday morning. Hate to ruin my perfect on time / no repower record with Landstar. But all the dealers are closed, and they always have stupid long wait times anyways.

My best agents said they will load me as a qualified carrier. So I'm going to get my own numbers soon and go that route. Dealing with Jacksonville or Rockford gets me so pissed off it's a wonder I haven't stroked out yet.

It's not even that. It's just a crappy $2.20 a mile $2500 load. I just hate being late and stressing out the brokers and letting people down. Would gladly lose money on this load if it meant delivering on time.

What if you need a new one box?

I've thought of that. But honestly, these days some of the only decent paying loads left are preload. And I would be in even more stress and trouble right now if I didn't have a company trailer that I can at least give to another driver.

No you wouldn't. #### happens. Two of three agents I'm referring to only do preloaded. But if I drop them a trailer, they will load it.

I don't think it's gonna come to that. DDDL is showing good conversion, and one box is just a box with sensors, usually just changing the sensors saves it. But if I do need a new one box, I guess I'm getting a new one box. Gonna repower the trailer and hang out and go broke in Pennsylvania all week I guess. It will set me back, but at least i do have the money to cover it.

At least it's pretty up here in the hills this time of year.
