DUJO and THE PLAYMAKER Thank this. -
Was kind of hoping to see some more things about the company here. I'm also pretty interested in Design, along with a few other companies, and would really like to know more about them from a driver or two.

With 8 months OTR experience I started transporting cars at my current employer at .45 a mile and $5.50 for each new car and $9.50 for each auction car plus extra for multiple picks/drops, bonuses, etc. It adds up quick and just goes up from there.
Heck, I am home most nights and get a nice motel each night out. Nice clean shower, comfy bed, cable tv... Sure beats a truck stop.
Two years at $.41 a mile. Sounds like YOU may have wasted your time... -
Design can't be that great. Everyday there is nee ads on Craigslist recruiting.
-
Pet policy is no pets . Couple drivers have them but they were grandfathered. Is a good co. There hiring areas vary. I live in Plano but am thinking of moving out of area. Have to leave truck at yard on hometime. If your record is clean they are worth a look. And to the doufus who can spot a recruiter, if you worked for a descent co you might not be so skeptical

Ads are because they're increasing in size. Planned on adding about 50 drivers by middle of year. To about 250 or so I think. Hometime is 3 days at a time max.

I don't what ya'll are smoking but what you have said about Design is nothing but a joke. You really can't be serious about all that crap you have written.

I tried to go to work for them (DESIGN) a year ago. The HMFIC told me he would try to find a truck that I could get into that had a prior pet. He said he'd call me the next morning. I waited and he never called. I called the next day and he said he was still looking and would call me as soon as he found a truck. 2 weeks later I called and he said that they had discontinued their pet policy. They still refuse to allow pets, even small ones. I have a declawed cat who has traveled with me for 10 years. I have references who know she has never caused a problem, yet they still (as of January/12) will not allow pets. I have spoken with drivers who load out of ENCOR wire in McKinney who say that the dispatchers are impossible to deal with. They force your routes and fuel stops. Don't know how true that is but I am certain of the pet policy.
They run ads 2 or 3 times a week on Craigslist but can't put ##### in the driver seat because of their ridiculous pet policy.....or lack thereof. -
Who are you buddy buddy with? They do deliver grocery warehouses like Walmart, HEB, Brookshires, PFG.. No touch freight is a lie too. Must be a touch of nepotsim in your story
