This truck had been tomb quite but the other day the desk drawer started sliding open while driving . Looked like he'll and nothing loose and it wouldn't latch so I as a last resort put a knife under the drawer latch and pryed up ...it clicked a couple times and shuts perfectly now .
If this is something that is the height of all trucking problems then I say awesome. I'm glad you resolved that. We used to keep a roll of airplane tape. *SKRITH! SLAP! and desk stays in. When need open, slice it with knife. Just one little issue. Eventually hit the company shop and they hollar. WTF IS THIS!?
That's funny you said it's been quiet. Cause Casper has been too. Guess we got the only two Cascadia's that work as advertised lmfao. I took a small Allen set and tightened two upper screws in the upper cabinet behind the driver's seat, other than that not a sound.
The one I got has 450 k on it now, and it's better than ever, since the rough universal joint got bad enough to find and replace, the last week before the repair I put close to 3000 miles on it. It's a 216 inch wheelbase, so it is a little choppier on rough roads than the 234 inch wheelbase.or longer condo sleeper. I've found t-rex tape to be better than gorilla tape, it sticks better and is just as strong if not stronger. Good fix for a temporary latch. The latches are a problem, cold is hard on them, and stuff gets jammed against them inside causing them to fail. The desk isn't very big on the one I have, and it usually stays closed.
