Bad Turbo or Compressor can cause blow by. Isolate the compressor by taking the SS line off. Isolate the turbo by taking the drain tube off, and catching the oil in a pan. See if it’s blowing air out the drain tube.

I used their kit back in 2016 on a 1999 12.7. I didn't have any issues. I bought the kit from DieselRebuild kits.com

I will bet quality of parts isn’t your issue. I doubt it falls on installation.

does the blow by have a heart beat?

are you sure it isn’t dusted?

Has an injector been removed for any reason right before the problems started?

Siinman, W923 and Rideandrepair Thank this.

Does the smoke have a pulse or skip to it?

if all 6 injectors were changed and the problem started after that I will bet that the bad hole is the first one they pulled out. It’s common for the mechanic to not drain the fuel rail. When the injector is removed that fuel dumps into that cylinder. If it’s not gotten out and cranked over after the install the odds of piston crown breaking in the rig lands are high. Especially if that piston was headed down and circled the bottom before coming up on compression. It all but hydro locks that excess fuel and oil in that cylinder just as well be tool steel. Again it depends on piston postition when the injector is removed and it doesn’t happen every time but it happens more than a customer thinks. The ####### that does the job then says well the injector washed the cylinder down cause it was bad. And he truly believes that cause he doesn’t know better.
Sometimes it may take 10k miles it’s more to show but if the piston crown is cracked between the ring lands one of 2 things happened. Miss installation off the rings or hydrolocked.

Redfish, W923, Siinman and 1 other person Thank this.
