    Just the crank. Used. New crank is 5000.00

    So you spray the gasket coat on the outside? Can you explain this process? Will it clean up the turbo too?

    Yes just coat the outside of the manifold and after it runs it will burn off and the manifold will look like new. I would imagine if you carefully spray the hot part of turbo it would clean up as well. It has to burn off or it is sticky.

    Reminds me of an oil trick I learned years ago restoring antique cars. We used to use gray never-seize. Once cleaned, wipe in on the exhaust manifold thin with a rag. Once you start the engine, it'll smoke for 1/2 hour or so and bake on. It'll stay looking like new cast iron for many years.
