I know this is 5 almost 6 years old but I am wondering how you resolved this. I have an 07 with similar symptoms.
-
My problem was 100% solved after I changed the vpod.
Tobytob Thanks this. -
I was having this problem also; 100% solved after I changed the vpod. Hope this helps.

Vpods are usually the issue when it comes to boost, they regulate the boost thru the Wht valve. Don’t just change one always replace both. Atkeast that what I do. It’s pricey but worth it.

Voids?
-
Vpod, sorry!

I had the same issue - working fine then tubro would just drop out - it turned out to be the VPOD - VPOD is located passengerside of truck back of block - just behind oil cooler housing - small rectangle box about 5 inches tall - 3 inches wide - 4 inches deep - has 2 small airlines going to it - follow air line from tubro acutuator back to the vpodTobytob Thanks this.

04 Columbia Detroit with same issue. Changed VPod and harness no change. Considering deleting egr etc, Anybody tried changing turbo for a ddec 3 style? I saw on a video about ddec versions that it could be done.

Test with DDDL/laptop/nexiq ?? without other electronic tools ??
