Customer bought an used ECM that had a Kysor fan clutch and his truck has a Horton. What needs to be changed to get fan to work properly? Settings in ECM, switches, fan solenoid?

Maybe nothing. Need to check pin locations on new and old. Assign them to same in new ECM as old the old ECM.
Smellfunny Thanks this. -
Well the fan was on all the time until he drove it down the road then it started working like it was supposed to. He did have to use the manual fan switch before this ECM when running the A/C but now it is cycling properly. Who knows. As long as he is happy I am happy.
Thanks.Big Road Skateboard Thanks this. -
Go under truck. Open plastic loom on harness going to ECM. Around 6 inches from plug, where loom starts to curve, you will find wire #A3 corroded. There may be more. Fix wires. Done. At least 100 times for me in 20+years.
Smellfunny and nikmirbre Thank this.
