Yeah I understand. If you haven't found a display yet, check out the scanguageD, it should do everything you want for under $200 new.

Calling Detroit with your engine serial # will be the best bet. If it was made, and no longer available, they should be able to give you the Detroit part number then use your google-## and try to find one. The scanguageD will do everything an older one of those will if the original is not available. heavyhaulerss might have already looked for one as well.

I don't know much about the Pro Driver, but I do have one from a DDEC 3. Let me check it out tomorrow to see if it's all intact and make sure the wires are not cut. It's in a retired unit that we've been stripping for parts. If it looks OK, I'll shoot you a PM to see if you want it. I don't want anything for it, except what shipping would cost if you can't pick it up.

    I found this too:

    It's an old post, but there's a part #.

Quite alright, at least you didn't say you had an EMD powering your 12 foot john boat, lol.

i think the best way would be to buy a complete take out 12.7 out of a similar truck and have it rebuilt and drop it in place of your 11.1L

eather way it will be a out of frame rebuild as the crank is different.

you can then probably sell your 11.1L for similar to the cost of what you paid for your core engine.
